SEOLA WORKS
A BACKDROP FOR LIFE
Seola Works was born at the edge of the Seola Reserve in Seattle, where wooded ravine meets the open waters of Puget Sound.
Shaped by living and creating alongside this ever-changing landscape, our studio grew from a deep connection to place and where our approach to design took root: grounded, intentional, and always in dialogue with the land.
We believe architecture and gardens should feel as natural and essential as the places that inspire them.
ABOUT US
THE TEAM
Seola Works is a multidisciplinary design studio shaped by over 20 years of combined experience across art, architecture, logistics, horticulture, and fine gardening. Our work spans a wide range of settings—each approached with a deep respect for place and context.
OUR ETHOS
WHAT WE CULTIVATE
Our design approach is rooted in the belief that architecture and gardens are inseparable—each informing and enriching the other to create spaces that are both grounded and enduring.
-
We believe every home is a unique reflection of its inhabitants – a story told through the interplay of materials, light, and landscape. Like portrait artists, we work to realize your project goals through our tools and collective vision, creating spaces that are both beautiful and intuitive.
-
Like ourselves, our projects embrace change, allowing materials and spaces to adapt, mature, and celebrate the deepening of character over time.
-
From rainscreens to raingardens - we design spaces as one seamless whole, ensuring every space – indoors and out – feel intentional, connected, and harmonious at every scale.
-
Every project is rooted in its surroundings, designed to heighten the sensory experience of place – through thoughtful consideration of light, texture, sound, scent, taste, and movement.
-
We believe that every space should support well-being, foster ease, clarity, and tranquility for every season of life.
